Resilience Yoga integrates breathing, gentle yoga postures, personal choice, mindful awareness, and Compassion Satisfaction Education in a gentle and supportive practice for all bodies and abilities. The practice is designed to help participants overcome the somatic effects of trauma, and/or vicarious trauma by activating and balancing the body’s parasympathetic nervous system and has been shown to reduce blood pressure, and decrease symptoms of stress due to PTSD, depression, anxiety, auto-immune disorders, and chronic illness
No experience with yoga is required.
